This Privacy Policy explains how MilitaryGradeApps LLC ("MilitaryGradeApps," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Repmixmobile app and the website at repmix.app (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.
Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information. When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address and create an account. You choose a username and may add a display name, bio, avatar photo, and general location (city/state).
- Content you create. Workouts (WODs), Mixes, plans, comments, posts, the workout and whiteboard photos you upload or scan, and the results and stats you log (e.g. completed workouts, scores, and training history).
- AI inputs.Messages, workout descriptions, and images (including whiteboard scans) you send to the in-app AI coach are processed to generate a response (see "AI features" below).
- Health & workout metrics.With your permission, Repmix reads workout metrics from Apple Health (HealthKit) — such as heart rate and active calories — to show and log your training stats (see "Health data" below).
- Push notification token. If you enable push notifications, we store a device push token so we can deliver the notifications you turn on.
- Purchase data. If you subscribe to Repmix Pro, the app stores (Apple, Google) and our subscription provider (RevenueCat) process the purchase and tell us your subscription status. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
How we use your information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service and its features.
- Create and manage your account, profile, social interactions, groups, and challenges.
- Generate AI workout content and responses you request.
- Send push notifications and service-related messages.
- Process subscriptions and prevent fraud and abuse.
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.
AI features
Repmix uses third-party AI (OpenAI) to power the AI coach and workout generation. When you use these features, the text and any images you submit are sent to OpenAI to produce a response, and some requests may use web search to find references. Please do not submit sensitive personal, health, or financial information in AI chats. AI output may be inaccurate and is not professional, medical, or fitness advice.
Health data
On iOS, with your explicit permission, Repmix reads workout data such as heart rate and active energy (calories) from Apple Health (HealthKit) to display and log your training. This health data is used only to provide those features. It is never used for advertising or marketing, and it is not shared with or sold to third parties. You can revoke access at any time in the iOS Health app or in Settings.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do nottrack you across other companies' apps or websites for advertising. We share information only:
- With other users, as you direct. Your public profile, public workouts, posts, comments, and group/challenge activity are visible to other users according to the visibility settings you choose.
- With service providers who process data on our behalf: Google Firebase (authentication, database, file storage, cloud functions, and push messaging), OpenAI (AI features), RevenueCat (subscription management), and Apple/Google (sign-in and in-app purchases).
- For legal reasons — to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect the rights, safety, and property of users and MilitaryGradeApps.
- In a business transfer — as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account). When you delete your account, your profile is removed and your username is released; we may retain limited records as required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes, and residual copies may persist in backups for a limited period. To request deletion of specific data, contact us at support@militarygradeapps.com.
Security
We use industry-standard measures (including Google Firebase's security infrastructure and access rules) to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
Repmix is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
International users
We operate in the United States and process information there. If you use the Service from outside the U.S., you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the U.S. and other countries where our service providers operate.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or the California CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@militarygradeapps.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notified in the app.
